In June 2012, the story that is the Picturebook Guesthouse officially began when we celebrated our open house.  This month we turned two!  Congratulations to all our partners, staff, and guests who have made the PBG one of the finest guesthouses in Mae Sot.  We have had the privilege of serving hundreds of guests over the last two years from places all around the world.   Over 100 apprentices have undergone hospitality and customer service training at the guesthouse during its first two years.  As much as we are proud of this milestone, we are also well aware of the fact that we need to keep improving our operations and guest services to provide our patrons with the best possible experience while staying with us.  A special thank you to Youth Connect founder and guesthouse designer Patrick Kearns as well as our major supporters, Child’s Dream and elea foundation for ethics in globalization. Happy Anniversary everybody!
