Congratulations to the Picturebook Guesthouse Hospitality Training Program Apprentices Cycle 1… You Did It!

On Saturday May 3rd, the latest Picturebook Guesthouse Hospitality Training Program held the graduation and certificate award ceremony for 6 students who completed their training and apprenticeships at PBG.  The students studied Thai and English language for communication in the hospitality industry, customer service, basic accounting, Life Skills, and basic computer skills to prepare them for their next step of full time employment in the hospitality industry.   Cha Aye is already working at Mae Sot City Hill Resort here in Mae Sot and Kyaw Min is working with our new partner in Yangon, The Morning Dew Guesthouse. Congratulations to you both.  The remaining four graduating apprentices (Naw Dar, Naw Julia, Thoung Kyar Taw, and Kyaw Poe) will be placed in their new positions soon and we will keep you posted on their next steps.  The PBG Hositality Program trainers and PBG staff are excited for our graduates and we wish you best of luck as you begin your new careers in earnest!
