The session 2 of the 2016-2017 In-School Program students will be joining us during the last week of October. In the meantime the YCF education team will going out into the community to deliver our In-school presentation explaining everything about the program. We will be visiting the BHSOH learning center on 30 September from 2 pm. until to 4 pm. We look forward to giving these presentations and answering any questions from potential students.
It has been an exciting, busy time for our education team as they have been delivering their program announcement letter to different education centers and leaving application forms with partner schools. The schools they have worked with this month include CDC, BHSOH, KED and Knowledge Zone. The application process began on September 26 and we are delighted that the program is open to all with no limit regarding age or ability. Our classes will begin on October 30 and we very much look forward to meeting all the new students.
On the September 24, with a heavy heart but masses of love and good luck, the YC staff said goodbye to give our education coordinator. Give joined the YC family in 2011 as an intern coming from the EIP (English Immersion Program) at Umpiem Mai refugee camp.
Give worked hard and after completed her one year internship was offered a permanent full-time job as YCF’s Thai trainer. Give progressed and when she left she was our educational coordinator. Give married earlier this year and has moved to be with her husband and start her new life. Although we will miss her we wish Give all our love and best wishes for the future and thank her for her dedication and loyalty to the Youth Connect Foundation.
As one leaves a new person arrives and we are happy to welcome our new Thai trainer Orawan Amonlertpaiboon (who fortunately has a nice, easier to pronounce name, Pang, which we all call her!) Welcome Pang and good luck for when your lessons start in October.
