YCF Transitions Apprenticeship Session 1 (2015-2016)

Currently, 29 students are in their fourth week of their 3 month apprenticeships at local businesses in Mae Sot. In the first month students got used to their new work places and began applying the skills they had developed, in their intensive training, to their new work. Weekly feedback from their supervisors with the Employment Team has been positive. The students are trying hard to show their employers and co workers howmuch they have learnt, and still want to learn.

Our students are building good workplace relationships at their placements. The Employment Team met with the local employers during the third week of January and the employers reported how impressed they were with the students and how well they were doing in their work placements. As always, we are very proud of the students and of their performance and dedication and we encourage them to keep doing their best.
