On May 29-30th, the latest Picturebook Guesthouse Hospitality Training Program held orientation sessions with the 8 new students in the program. The students met their trainers and learned more about what they will be doing over the next four months in the program. The students will undergo intensive training for the next 8 weeks at the guesthouse. They will study Thai and English language for communication in the hospitality industry, customer service, basic accounting, Life Skills, and basic computer skills to prepare them for a two month apprenticeship at the guesthouse following their training. The trainers and PBG staff are excited to begin working with the students and we look forward to a productive next four months!
